Sue Lamoree
Adaptive rider
Nearly, 15 years ago, Sue Lamoree was watching The Horse Whisperer and, since she was looking for an outdoor activity, she decided to give riding at Little Bit a try. She was skeptical at first because she wasn't an animal person at the time. Once she started riding, she was inspired by watching Alena Sorm ride. Alena had a rare form of cerebral palsy, and Sue watched her horse move to stay underneath her. In addition to building her strength while on horseback, Sue also developed many long-standing friends at Little Bit, including her husband Guy who was an arena volunteer. Since riding at Little Bit, Sue has become an award-winning author. She and Guy live on Camano Island.
