We will cover why you -- as a mental health professional -- would want to partner with horses, how the paradigm works, and how it can be useful to your particular methodology: CBT, psychotherapy, play therapy, art therapy, marriage & family therapy, etc. No past horse experience is needed!
Practicing Equine-Facilitated Therapy at Little Bit: Working in the PATH-Model as a Mental Health Professional
Are you a mental health provider in the Greater Seattle Area interested in offering your clients therapeutic experiences with horses? Little Bit works with licensed mental health providers interested in including interactions with horses in their practice. All mental health professionals interested in practicing EFP at Little Bit are welcome to attend this training. No past horse experience is needed to do this work as a mental health professional – you will be well-supported.

Do you already work with EiT programs, but want to enhance your knowledge and skills on equines, their welfare, safety and the role they play in these programs? The Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.) promotes safety and optimal outcomes in equine-assisted activities and therapies for individuals with special needs. Little Bit is a certified PATH Intl Center and provides workshops and certifications as a part of the PATH Intl process.
