Shy was born and raised in Texas where she was trained primarily in western pleasure riding. Our girl journeyed around the United States until she found a permanent home in Washington.

Among her accomplishments, Shy has won 2 American Quarter Horse Superiors in western pleasure, and competed several times at the Quarter Horse world show.

Outside of the ring, Shy was a loving mom, and produced 3 beautiful foals. One of her foals has followed in her hoofsteps and won many high points in the show ring.

Shy is very much like Sifter because she also has smooth and even gaits. This makes her ideal for vaulting, a new job for Shy, but one that she enjoys.
