Rosie is brand new to Little Bit and pretty much everything! She came to us through the
man who bred Mahon. Some of the staff went to see her in Indiana during the NARHA national
conference in 2006. At the time, she was employed as a carriage horse, pulling a family of 6
in a cart. Her movement, downhill build, and extraverted temperament suit her to hippotherapy.
The McEachern Charitable Trust had granted Little Bit the support to purchase
a hippotherapy horse, so she hopped on a trailer and two thousand miles
later backed off into the Little Bit parking lot completely unfazed.
As
a young horse, having never seen the bubbles, balls, and other
therapy props, she has a lot to learn - but we think she's well on her way!
Thank you to the McEachern Charitable Trust
for bringing Rosie to us!
