Blondie is a four-year-old palomino Quarter Horse mare who came to us from Sultan, WA. Although initially we were reluctant to look at such a young horse, after a demonstration of her skills, it became clear that she would be a spook-proof therapy champion. She had the right conformation, movement and height to meet our specifications for a Hippotherapy horse and already had some long-lining training. Because she is so young, we plan to bring her into both our adaptive riding and Hippotherapy programs slowly. We were able to purchase her thanks to a generous grant from the Ronald McDonald Foundation.
